3. Installation and debugging instructions and wiring definition

3.1. All transmitters are digitally calibrated, and different transmitters are completely consistent and interchangeable;

3.2. To install the pressure transmitter on site, you need to unscrew the back cover of the meter head, connect the cable from the electrical interface, connect the 485 communication line and the backup battery line. During the wiring process, please pay attention to the correct wiring of the positive and negative poles of the power supply, and finally tighten the back cover to ensure waterproofing.

3.3. The definitions of the six-core terminal blocks from left to right are:

1-power supply 24V+, 2-power supply 24-, 3- 485_A, 4-485_B, 5-battery positive pole, 6-battery negative pole,

Under the default setting, the instrument works in the loop current state after it is turned on. The main display area displays the current pressure value and temperature value switching back and forth, and the battery progress bar will only display the battery power when there is no external power supply.

3.6 On-site setting of basic instrument communication information

   As shown in the figure below, the factory default communication address of the instrument is 01, and it can be set by the on-site user. Use the debugging software "SMD03 Digital Pressure Transmitter 485 Debugging Software", in the basic information status column of the device communication in the general information state of the intelligent sensor, first fill in the universal address 255 in the instrument communication address, and then "read". After the communication is successful, other setting codes will be displayed, and the instrument communication address can be set and recorded. The baud rate defaults to 9600, and the serial port is the serial port number of the current computer, generally com1, com2. The specific serial port number of the current computer can be queried in the device manager.

3.7 Pressure transmitter parameter setting

  As shown in the figure below, the pressure range can be read by the user but cannot be set. The decimal place of pressure can be selected from 0 to 2. Tare weight is the process of peeling and zeroing the instrument when it is unloaded, but it will not modify the calibration gain of the transmitter when it leaves the factory. When the transmitter is used for a period of time, it is calibrated and reset regularly. The transmitter can be suspended. When the value displayed by the transmitter is not zero, the tare weight can be set to the displayed value, that is, reset. For example: When the field instrument is unloaded, it displays 0.5MPa, the tare weight can be set to 0.5, and the transmitter outputs the corresponding signal value minus the tare weight.

According to the computer configuration and the actual connected computer serial port, select COM1 or COM2.

3.9. Real-time reading of analog information

Fill in the communication address of the instrument, click Start Reading, and the instantaneous measurement value will be refreshed in real time, which can be used for on-site debugging. The basic information here (instantaneous measurement value, current sampling code, version number, upper limit alarm, lower limit alarm, running time) can only be viewed but not modified.
